CCA’s civic engagement program is structured to strengthen, deepen and expand our collective reach in targeted communities in order to ensure an inclusive voting system. The program at its core is about our community, partners and their allies collectively working to engage in the electoral and legislative process without barriers, which will fundamentally strengthen communities.

Our Civic Engagement program consists of:

GOTV (GOTV) engages in non-partisan voter education activities such as phone banking, text messaging, canvassing, and other voter education and mobilization activities.

We use flyers/door hangers, text messages, social media, and other outlets to strategically place voter education and mobilization messaging.

Since 2020, CCA helped several organizations with voter registration, training volunteers for door-to-door canvassing, Phone bank and recruiting poll observers locally and statewide.

We host GOTV events such as candidate meet and greets, rallies, barbershops and ballot talks, brunch and ballots, souls/stroll to the polls, and DJ/party at the polls.
